The song tells a story of Jose Alvarenga, a fisherman from Salvador. In 2012, he and his young helper have got into the storm while fishing on their small boat in Mexico. They were blowed far away from the shores and got into an open ocean.
The helper died very soon, and Jose stayed alone, drifting in the giant mass of the water. He has suffered alone more than a year, and then, by a happy coincidance, he came to Marahall Islands.
This is a story about the insignificance of a simple man in the face of the giant creature, of the immence Colossus - the ocean.
